Our Turmeric Powder is made with Megha Variety (Megha Turmeric is a promising turmeric cultivar developed by the ICAR Research Complex of NEH Region, Meghalaya through clonal selection form Lakadong) is an heirloom variety of turmeric known for its high curcumin content. While regular turmeric varieties contain anywhere between 2-4% curcumin, our turmeric contains a whooping 5%+. You’ll instantly notice that our turmeric has a deep yellow colour and a swoon-worthy aroma which is the perfect indication of our turmeric being well, only turmeric. This turmeric is grown with love in Khonshnong, Meghalaya. Our turmeric is freshly ground in small batches for maximum flavour and freshness with all its natural oils intact. Take a sniff and you’ll know what we’re talking about. It’s extremely potent so a little goes a long way!
