Green tea leaves are a common name for the leaves of plant species named as Camellia Sinensis.
It is an evergreen shrub or small tree that is usually trimmed to below 2m to get its leaves.
The tea plant’s leaves are dark green with zigzag edges and a pointed tip. They are somewhat oval in shape.
How To Prepare Green Tea With Leaves:
Take one teaspoon green tea leaves for one cup of green tea.
Put the tea leaves in a sieve / strainer.
Boil the water in a pot. The ideal temperature for green tea is 80°C to 85°C. If temperature will over 90°C, the tea may become bitter.
Pour the hot water into the cup through tea leaves sieve/strainer and let the tea steep for 3 minutes.
Take out the sieve. If you want, you may add 1 teaspoon honey after cooling for few seconds.
